The development, enhancement, and application of travel demand models have always been an important focus of our work. We are experienced in collecting data; forecasting land use and socio-economic inputs; coding networks; estimating, calibrating, and validating models; analyzing and summarizing results; updating or enhancing existing models; and providing clear and thorough documentation. Our understanding of the strengths and limitations of travel models helps us to use them appropriately and effectively, whether for long-range regional planning or project-level traffic forecasts. When working with a client to develop a new model, we help realistically assess their needs and capabilities, so they get the tool that best fits their situation. The purpose of any travel model is to improve decision-making. To that end, we develop robust, user-friendly, cost-effective models that incorporate state-of-the-practice advances for improving outcomes, while avoiding unnecessary complexity. We strive to provide the right tool for the job.
