A major focus of M/A/B’s practice is campus transportation planning. M/A/B has prepared comprehensive transportation and parking plans, as well as partnered with architects and campus planners in the development of transportation components of campus master plans, precinct studies, or individual projects. To date, we have worked on more than 50 campuses across the U.S. and overseas. Our emphasis always is on creating a pleasing and safe pedestrian environment, and accommodating growth while minimizing parking needs and traffic. Our studies include pedestrian circulation and safety, parking, accessibility, internal circulation, traffic congestion and impacts, transit, bicycle movement, and travel demand management. Our extensive campus planning experience has provided us with a unique understanding and approach to campus transportation systems that serves and supports each university’s mission and vision for their campuses.
